Tom Rackham is a film and TV composer based in the United Kingdom. His music is broadcast on a range of channels worldwide, including BBC One, Channel 4, Discovery, & respective affiliates, and is streamed in shows & films through various services including BBC iPlayer, Netflix, & Amazon Prime.

Tom created an atmospheric and organic musical soundscape for "Purgatory" which has received over 2 million views on YouTube and won awards at the Eastern European International Movie Awards, the Across the Globe Film Festival, the Cotswold International Film and Video Festival, and the New Creators Film Awards. He scored the philosophical time travel drama "Time and Again" featuring Colin Baker ("Doctor Who"), hailed by UK Film Review as "compellingly rich and layered." Tom's electronic score for "Nexus" won Best Score of the Season at The Monthly Film Festival. He recently created a jazz-inspired score for the upcoming noir thriller feature film "Castle Boulevard."

A versatile television composer, Tom's current projects include the Channel 4 landmark experiment “The Jury: Murder Trial”. He writes music for two long-running Discovery hit series: "Scrap Kings," and "Help! My House is Haunted," both of which have won Best Entertainment Programme and received numerous nominations at the Royal Television Society Awards. His previous work includes the BBC Earth series "The World's Deadliest Weather" and the BBC One series "Saved on Camera."

Tom is a Principal Voting Member of PRS for Music.
